For me this is one of their best albums in terms of diversity. Folk elements are woven into the songs as well as epic ones and I even think, there is a small hint of industrial in it. And the ocassional dosage of ritualistic darkness of course. All in all it's a very individual release and completely typical for Rotting Christ where the whole always is much bigger than the sum of it's parts.

I don't think Rotting Christ have a bad album, but Theogonia and Sanctus Diavolos are the two that I can listen to on repeat for hours and not ever feel like they're worn out. I am so happy to have this on vinyl.

I happened upon Batushka by clicking on a suggested video on YouTube and Yekteniya 3 was the one that I heard first. From there, I was hooked. Yektoniya 3 constantly haunts me to the point where I have to get my daily/weekly fix of it. Overall the whole Litourgiya album is perfection from start to finish. I am enamored by it all from the chants to the harsh vocals to the energetic guitar playing to the thunderous drums. Excellent!
